4Couture Team Trials: The Legendary Stanley Quencher
/The first in our 4Couture series of drinkware ‘Team Trials’ I chose to pick the newly launched Stanley Quencher…
If you’re an avid water drinker like me (hate tea & coffee so live off water and the occasional Diet Coke) then Stanley is a brand you’ll already know and even if you don’t like water, I’m sure you’ve heard of Stanley especially in the last year – the Stanley movement has been very real.
Whether it’s the lifestyle Instagram posts, featuring the most popular beige Quencher from the likes of Molly Mae or the celebrity Stanley X Collabs such as one with the singer Tyla who’s hit single ‘Water’ made it a no-brainer for Stanley that she became an ambassador. Tyla’s very own sell out design – it really does feel like Stanley are taking over the world!
So at the end of 2024 when I found out Stanley were partnering with the corporate world - allowing for dual-branded 1200ml Quenchers, I was VERY excited!
Of course I offered myself up as the first 4Couture ‘team Trials’ tester for this (yes we take our promotional merchandise v seriously and always user test products so we know hand on heart that what we’re selling is of good quality) Obviously this is tongue and cheek as I already knew what type of quality I was expecting from my tumbler as I have an ever-growing home collection already with the Midnight Iridescent one being my most recent purchase.
For those that don’t know, the 1200ml Quencher is a premium made tumbler made from 90% recycled stainless steel for a more sustainable choice when choosing who to align your corporate brand with. It keeps cold drinks cold for 11 hours (2 days when iced) or hot for up to 7 hours. The lid features a rotating cover with three positions; a straw opening design to resist splashes while holding the reusable straw in place, a drink opening, and a full-cover top. The ergonomic handle includes comfort-grip inserts for easy carrying, and the best bit (in my opinion) - the narrow base fits just about any car cup holder, making this the gem of all tumblers and being the Queen of water at 4Couture, I should know!
But actually, this is such a key feature as it means I will choose Stanley over any other brand, as I can take this on-the-go – which when engraved with your company logo, means your logo will be a constant reminder in the face of the receiver everywhere they travel and with the lifetime warranty also means it’s a more premium giveaway that people will keep for many years.
The icing on the tumbler cake is that their products are also dishwasher safe. I’ve bought many a tumbler online and find myself cracking out the Milton each week and worrying about the fact I need to use it each day and want it to remain clean and fresh. This pain is taken away with the Stanley as I can chuck it in the dishwasher each night whilst it still retains it’s quality and gorgeous matte finish with chrome detailing. What I was most surprised at when I tried my first Stanley, is that the tap water seems to get colder as the day goes on and it genuinely makes the water taste really fresh.
The 1200ml Quencher retails on the high street for @ £45 upwards making this is a promotional item that will make your team and/or clients feel truly valued - it’s a trusted brand known for the more premium price point. And the good news is, depending on how many you decide to produce with us, you can hit some super impressive price breaks.
We’ve already seen 2025 kick off with corporate orders for companies wanting to promote wellbeing in the workplace, including the Stanley tumblers in welcome packs, in turn helping reduce single use plastic in corporate work spaces. As well as businesses who are taking them to tradeshows and exhibitions as they know their stand will be swarming with people trying to get their hands on a sought after, decent quality piece of branded merchandise.
The logo is branded in the form of either pad print or laser engraving, which can sit directly underneath the trademark Stanley symbol or on the reverse – the choice is yours. Engraving on this product produces a silver looking logo which we think works really well with the chrome detail on the tumbler rim, again offering a premium look. With low minimum order quantities of 25 pieces upwards, you can give these away as client thankyous, staff onboarding or even staff celebrations such as working milestones and even celebrating closing a client deal!
Currently, the corporate world collaboration is offering the Tumbler in a choice of either the most popular Beige colour or Black but we’re sure that given the popularity already shown in such a short time, they will be working to add more colours to the collection very soon. Lead time is approximately 2 weeks from artwork approval.
In the era of social media campaigns and promoting yourself online, whether that’s in the form of being an influencer on Tik Tok / Instagram or even the business professional on Linkedin always looking for your next post – everyone wants to see good quality content posted and hence why Stanleys get featured so often when people are showcasing their ‘working desktop’ – so why not make sure that if they’re posting, they’re including a Stanley branded with your logo on it too.
As an extra element of personalising, staff can make the Stanley their own by ordering cute little straw toppers (can you tell I’ve got a drawer full 🤣) – I think a pack of 8 are about five quid on the likes of Amazon and they sit on top of the straw which I personally really like as I know no dust/particles get into my straw. Don’t worry, if we start producing branded straw toppers inhouse, I’ll be the first to write about it.
So, in a nutshell – the Stanley is an investment piece of drinkware that will last and last (see the article about the women who had a car fire and the only thing that lasted was her Stanley https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/stanley-cup-car-fire ) and combined with your brand the receiver is going to feel truly valued and excited to continue using over & over again.
Up next in our ‘Team Trials’ is the Ocean Bottle… so watch this space to see how it compares…
