Earlier in 2021 a close friend of 4Couture’s mentioned that she had become a founding ambassador for an amazing initiative, the Global Girl Project.

In passing conversation it transpired that during the month of March 2021 the charity would be launching the ‘Global Girls Run The World’ challenge. Much needed funds would be raised to help mobilise socially minded girls who live in poverty within developing countries, to become leaders and change makers in their communities.

The charity focuses on working with girls who are hardest to reach and are often left behind, through travel and cross cultural experiences, leadership training and educational grants. The Global Girl Project ignites leadership ambitions of the change makers in their communities, leading the mission of changing our world one girl at a time.

Well, need we say more, with such an incredible and inspiring ambition it took us all of about 2 seconds to sign up to offer our support in any we could in fact, our enthusiasm may have clouded our judgement as we merrily signed away and agreed to fundraise by running 100 miles each throughout the month!

Motivated by the mission, the 4Couture team didn’t waste any time in getting out and about and clocking up the mileage and although we’ve still got 2 weeks of March left, we’ve collectively covered hundreds of miles already.

Of course given our in house skills for branded merchandise it would have been remiss of us not to organise a few branded goodies for the team to wear. Just how good do these embroidered Run The World beanies look?!
